The Jacquart Crew at Fort Pickens
Apr 2 2026 | By: Junolia Studios
I met up with Angie, Mark, and their two boys, Jace and Kobe, at the stunning Fort Pickens in Pensacola Beach, and from the very first click, it was clear: this crew is equal parts laid-back, loving, and full of personality.
Angie and Mark have raised two amazing young men who couldn’t be more perfectly different (and perfectly complementary).
-
Jace (20) – more laid back, a little reserved, the quiet observer
-
Kobe (18) – calm but social, easygoing with a natural charm
And then there’s mom and dad—the heart of it all—who created a space where both personalities shine in their own way.
This session wasn’t just about “updated photos.”
It was about holding onto a moment in time.
With Kobe preparing for life in the Marines and so much unknown ahead, these photos became something deeper—something meaningful, grounding, and real.
We started under the historic brick arches, which gave us the perfect mix of texture, light, and a little bit of that timeless feel.
And let me just say…
this family might start a little reserved—but give them five minutes and suddenly it’s jokes, smiles, and those in-between moments that make sessions magic.
There were side glances, quiet smiles, and the kind of laughter that sneaks up on you. The best kind.
From there, we wandered over to the little beach cottages nearby, where the sunlight was pouring in like it had been waiting just for them.
This is where their personalities really came alive.
The boys sitting together, talking and laughing.
Mom soaking it all in.
Dad right there in the middle of it all.
It felt less like a photoshoot and more like a slow, golden evening with family—and honestly, those are always the best sessions.
And then… we hit the beach.
Golden hour showed up in the most beautiful way—soft, glowing, and just a little bit magical.
Barefoot in the sand, arms wrapped tight, and the kind of closeness you can’t fake.
This is where everything slowed down.
Where hugs lingered a little longer.
Where smiles softened.
Where you could feel just how much this season matters.
This wasn’t just about getting everyone in one place for photos.
It was about:
-
celebrating who they are right now
-
capturing the bond between parents and sons
-
freezing a moment before life shifts into its next chapter
Because when life feels uncertain, photos become something steady.
Something you can come back to.
Something that says, “We were here. Together. And it was beautiful.”
Sessions like this are why I love what I do.
Real families.
Real connection.
Real moments you can feel through the images.
To Angie, Mark, Jace, and Kobe—thank you for trusting me with this chapter of your story. It was such an honor capturing your crew just as you are right now.
And Kobe—we’re all cheering you on for what’s ahead 🇺🇸
