Common Questions

Do you specialize in wedding photography?

Yes—weddings and couples are truly my heart. While I photograph a variety of sessions, wedding photography and couples sessions are my main focus. I love documenting love stories in a way that feels real, emotional, and true to who you are—not forced or overly posed.

Where are you located, and do you travel?

I’m based in Pace, Florida and generally work in the Southeastern United States, but I absolutely travel for weddings and couples sessions. Whether you’re planning something close to home or somewhere meaningful to you, I’m always happy to talk travel details.

What is your photography style?

My style is action-based, true-to-life photography. That means I focus on real moments, natural movement, and genuine emotion. I’ll guide you when needed, but my goal is for you to feel comfortable being yourselves—laughing, moving, and connecting naturally.

We’re awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?

Yes—and you’re not alone. Almost every couple says this. My approach is laid-back and connection-focused, so you’re never expected to “perform.” I’ll guide you in ways that feel easy and natural, and before you know it, you’ll forget the camera is even there.

How much experience do you have photographing weddings?

I’ve been photographing weddings for many years and previously ran a very successful wedding photography business. Life led me on a different path for a season, and now I’m back—rebranded, re-centered, and doing this work with more intention and heart than ever before.

That experience allows me to stay calm, adapt quickly, and capture meaningful moments even when the timeline shifts or the unexpected happens.

How do you help with our wedding day timeline?

I help every couple build a realistic wedding day photography timeline that allows space for genuine moments—not rushing from one thing to the next. I’ll guide you on lighting, portrait timing, and how to structure the day so it feels relaxed and intentional.

What happens if something goes wrong on the wedding day?

Weddings are beautifully imperfect—and I’m prepared for that. I come with:

  • Backup cameras and equipment

  • Experience handling timeline changes

  • A calm, supportive presence

My job is to adapt, problem-solve, and keep things moving so you can stay present and enjoy your day.

What is your backup plan if you’re unable to photograph our wedding?

I take this responsibility very seriously. In the rare case of an emergency, I have trusted professional photographer connections and systems in place to ensure your day is still covered. Your memories matter too much for anything less.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes! Engagement sessions are highly recommended. They’re a great way for us to get to know each other, for you to get comfortable in front of the camera, and for us to capture this exciting season of your relationship.

What if we need to reschedule?

Life happens. I have clear policies in place for rescheduling and cancellations, which will be outlined in your contract. Having these policies helps protect both of us and ensures clear communication from the start.

How do we know if you’re the right photographer for us?

This one matters. Beyond loving my work, you should feel comfortable, understood, and supported. Your photographer is with you during some of the most emotional moments of your wedding day—connection and trust are everything. If it feels right, that usually means it is. If it doesn't, that's ok too!! Let me know, I am friends with some many great photographers that may be a better fit for you. No hard feelings.
